Defending Country
The Hub works closely with the First Nations Land Justice (LJ) Hub collaborating with communities to defend country. This work has included addressing Indigenous interests in Indigenous climate litigation, renewable energy development, commonwealth fisheries, and sustainable finance.
First Anaiwan community cultural burn in May at Nyambinga Kyuna, which brought together members of the Anaiwan community along with neighbouring mobs including Dunghutti, Gumbaynggirr, Ngarabal, Banbai, and Kamilaroi. In addition, Callum worked with Anaiwan artist Narmi Collins-Widders to facilitate the creation of an illustrated book of Anaiwan animal names and an accompanying video learning.
