Unique identifiers are also used to store information about users’ preferences and enable the dynamic display of the site according to your preferences when you return.
Information created by the system on how what parts are used, and results of tests, will be used to improve the system and its goals in providing opportunities for the learning of maths and engagement with mathematical ideas. Statistics will also be included in reports to the Commonwealth Government who has funded this program. Information used for these purposes will not identify you.
In addition to the above, the Maths Inside team plans to conduct research using information held in Maths Inside. Where research projects are approved by a Human Ethics Committee, we may use your email address to contact you to ask you if you would be happy to participate.
