Information about admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
How to apply
Admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration is administered through the UTS Business School. (Please note that an ATAR or completion of year 12 is not a pre-requisite.)
We are accepting applications for 2024.
Applying for the BBA
Please email us at bba@uts.edu.au if you would like further information or would like us to give you a call for a further chat.
If you are ready to proceed, please register via the UTS Student Portal, complete your details then proceed to the Jumbunna area and follow the prompts from there.
The next steps are:
- You will receive an email to confirm that you are on the Waiting List
- You will be contacted for an interview (this may be in person, via webcam or telephone)
- You will be asked to complete an online assessment
- You might be asked to participate in an on-site Testing & Assessment program
- If you are successful, you will receive an Application for Enrolment. This is a direct offer from the University. This offer will contain a link for you to accept your offer online, or defer your offer (meaning you are accepting the offer but will enrol in the course for the following year).
- Your Block dates will be provided. If you reside more than 90 minutes away from UTS, your travel and accommodation will be booked for you.

PRE-APPLICATION
- Download our brochure. Read and review the information contained in these documents.
- Share this information with your employer and discuss the workplace arrangements needed to support your study aspirations and goals.
- Have documentation that confirms your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent where the documentation includes a common seal OR complete the Jumbunna Pathways Statutory Declaration (PDF, 49kB) and have two references from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community members who are not directly related to you.
- Prepare a personal statement that states why you are interested in the course as well as how the course aligns with your personal and educational goals, interests and long-term career plans.
- Have evidence of education qualifications to submit with your application. You will also need to provide details of your work experience with your application.
