Community partnerships

UTS Shopfront supports community organisations and students to collaborate on disciplinary-specific projects.

SOUL Award program connects students to the local community and encourages volunteering and participation to develop their social responsiveness and leadership skills.

The Brennan Program seeks to strengthen the justice consciousness, idealism and sense of service that UTS Law students bring to their studies and later professional work via volunteer placements.

Work training placements for people with a disability - this program brings together qualified, skilled people with disabilities seeking voluntary 'on the job' work experience and UTS supervisors who have tasks or projects they would like assistance with.

Acknowledgement of Country

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
