Some faculties and centres want to connect with you before you get too deep into the application process. During this process they can help you find a supervisor or a project to work on.

Before you start the application process you need to find a supervisor. Search our database to find someone with expertise in your field and reach out to them to discuss your research idea.

Select a course
Work with your supervisor to decide which course you wish to enrol in. Make sure you meet the eligibility and English language requirements for the degree that you choose

Find a scholarship
Scholarships can help you with the costs of a research degree. You can apply for external scholarships before submitting your application form or elect to be considered for a UTS competitive scholarship in the application form.

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must submit your application by certain closing dates during the year.
