What is a Bachelor of Computing Science (IDeA)?
Computing science is the study of computers and computational systems, how they work, what their limitations are, and ultimately how to use computation to develop new, effective solutions to important, complex, and complicated problems.
As a degree, the Bachelor of Computing Science, which is part of the Industry Degree Academy program, you mix classroom study with real-world employment, with your workplace activities credited towards your degree. The cadetship program spans three years and offers a flexible structure to accommodate both full-time and part-time study, available only at UTS.
This approach enables you to gain real-world employment experience in your academic journey.
What you’ll learn
You will work with employers to actively contribute to learning outcomes via portfolios, industry certifications, and training, as you gain strong technical skills and a full cybersecurity or computing science qualification.
