  • UTS staff are digitally and data literate and routinely use data insights to make strategic decisions
  • Research data management is valued as a fundamental component of research excellence

  • Research Application Model—develop business case to establish new management model for research IT systems
  • Research systems roadmap—develop long term plan for Research Master and other major research systems
  • Data governance framework—develop improved framework and policy around data management
Achievements to date
  • Launched enhancements to MyResearcher Dashboard
  • Established Research Systems Board to ensure a joined-up approach to systems management
  • Preparation for launch of Research Master major system release (version 7) with new functionality and user interface
  • Embedding data management practices and enhancements to STASH system
  • Created Data Analyst and API Developer positions in the Research Office
