| John SzaboDirector, Strategic PartnershipsJohn is the Director of the Partnerships Unit. His main role is setting the Unit's strategic direction in relation to managing existing and growing new whole of university strategic partnerships. John’s primary focus is to identify, foster and establish new strategic partnerships that align with UTS’ values and Tier 1 strategic objectives and introduce institutional quality strategic relationship management practices. Prior to joining UTS, John’s career spanned close to 20 years in the health industry. His early career was spent as a senior health consultant and later as the National Business Development Manager for one of Australia’s leading corporate health providers serving both the federal government and private sector. He has also worked for Executive Health Solutions, Australia’s leading executive health provider, driving business development and client relationships with a diverse range of national clients. | Kaye CarrPartnerships and Projects Manager, Partnerships UnitKaye is in the role of Partnerships and Projects Manager with a focus on supporting industry engagement opportunities across the university by managing existing partnerships, the cultivation of new partnerships and connecting potential partners with faculties and units to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for the university and partner. Prior to joining the Partnerships Unit, Kaye worked in the UTS Careers team in Business Development with the goal to increase the number of internship and graduate opportunities available to UTS students. Kaye has spent over 20 years in key account focused roles in pharmaceutical, retail, manufacturing and tertiary education. Qualifications B.Sc. (Hons) (Edinburgh Napier University) |
| Annette DockertyProgram Lead, SME EngagementAnnette Dockerty, Program Lead, SME Engagement at UTS started working at the intersection of technology, industry and universities in 2003 at the Smart Services Technology Cooperative Research Centre. Connecting industry, SMEs and large corporates, and various government departments, to the expertise and talent across a number of universities, adding value and building enduring client relationships. Leading the SME@UTS program, Annette is playing to her strengths and passion, partnering and building ecosystems that unite in the interests of industry, employment and the economy. With a primary focus on advanced manufacturing, Annette brings together universities, TAFE, RTOs, all levels of government, growth centres, CRCs and industry networks with business leaders looking to accelerate their adoption of technology, and access grants to support innovation and commercialisation. |
| Jaime-lee CollinsonAdministration and Project Officer, Partnerships and PrecinctsJaime-lee's role focuses on providing executive support and project management to the Partnerships and Precincts divisions within the Enterprise Unit at UTS. Jaime-lee's position works closely with Matthew Proft (Director of Precincts) and John Szabo (Director of Strategic Partnerships) to provide high-level administration and stakeholder management. With a focus on communication design, Jaime-lee assists with design projects for the unit and is creatively inclined. Previously, Jaime-lee was an executive assistant to the CEO of a leading retail consultancy firm. She worked collaboratively with a diverse team to streamline internal processes and oversee client projects. With a background in pharmaceuticals and the NFP sector, Jaime-lee is passionate about helping others and improving community structures to make resources accessible to everyone.
