Academic Background and Work Experience:
Inji Aly has obtained her Bachelor of Finance from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and Master of Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.
Prior to starting PhD, she has worked as a data analyst in the FinTech/RegTech industry in Australia. With the broad knowledge in data analytics and FinTech/RegTech industry globally, her aim is to continue her research in financial market forensics.
As the first year PhD student at UTS, she currently investigates the economy-wide extent of misconduct among investment advisers in the US and Australia and aims to characterise the main determinants of misconduct in this industry.
