Conversations@ UTS provides a great opportunity to practise your English conversation skills and meet new people in a friendly and relaxed environment. These group sessions aim to develop your confidence with casual conversations – socially, at university and at work. Come and join the discussion!

Conversations@UTS

Steve: Conversation Groups is an informal gathering of students led by a Conversation Leader.

Steve: If you are an international student, and you were to come to one of these Conversation Groups I think you’ll find it beneficial.

Steve: It's a way to improve your confidence, to improve your English speaking skills and make friends.

Majid: For me it was very successful because when I arrived here my English was not good.

Majid: I couldn't communicate with other person but now I can communicate, I can go out and I'm very happy.

Kay: The good thing in here, I could make a lot of good friends and I met amazing leader and, I've learnt a lot of Australian culture too.. like spiders, surfing! That’s why I like to be here.

Alex: Really there are so many opportunities for international students you know, to get confidence about language because sometimes you can feel alone in UTS because it's so big place you know and just really so many people.

Rose: If you are the international students so welcome to join our group because you can share a lot of interesting things and to find good friends with you so, come come here!
