Easyshare
Start-up business model evaluation and development.
The Client
Easyshare - an early stage start-up based in Sydney - provides a secure platform designed to simplify the administrative and financial management of multiple occupants living in a single dwelling. Household members have the ability to pay their share of rent, bills and anything else shared via credit card or direct debit. All transactions are recorded to relieve members from the burden of administration, give them ledgers and full payment histories.
The Challenge
Easyshare has engaged the UTS MBAe team to produce a due diligence report to assess the strategy and viability of their business model, along with a recommendation on a go-to-market strategy.
The Solution
The MBAe student team provided a full stack of strategic analysis for Easyshare, including environmental and industry analysis, competitive analysis, detailed customer needs and market segmentation as well as financial analysis. Based on the team's analysis, recommendations were made in regards to scaling the business and mid-to-long term capacity to growth, revenue generation and alternative business models. A detailed transition and execution plan together with a go to market strategy were presented back to the client.
