What will the day involve?
- Explore different areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Design and Building through 1 hour hands-on activities such as:
- Building games
- Coding industry 4.0 robots to create towers of blocks
- Measuring your own blood pressure, heart rate, and lung capacity, and discovering their importance in health using medical devices

- Investigating how cyber security attacks happen
- Meet women currently studying and working in STEM at UTS and hear about what they create, build and design
- Ask questions to a panel of students, academics and professionals
- Year 11 and 12 students can choose to spend the day diving deep into a Engineering or Technology project, using design thinking to solve real-world problems using technical skills. Projects could include:
- Automation of repetitive tasks using 'Dobot' robots
- Designing and prototyping infrastructure for populations living in diverse environments
- Building an electronic data logger programmed to capture data from various sensors, establish a WiFi connection and synchronize data to the cloud.
