Taste influences how we create and how we consume – it can be as inspiring as it is polarizing. The collection Kitsch, Please! is a carefully curated obsession with the old. It is a revival of all things familiar, sometimes too familiar, in the spirit of extravagance. The collection considers the values of taste and poses the question: can something be so bad it becomes good? Kitsch, Please presents an alternate form of bravery in unapologetic fabulousness.

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands.
