Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants
Jumbunna Admissions Program
The Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research provides support and access to all Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants who would like to study at UTS via the Jumbunna Admissions Program.
At Jumbunna, the ATAR is not the primary measure of success. Prospective students to our Pathways Program is inclusive of recent-school leavers (with or without an ATAR); non-school leavers; people with TAFE, College or previous university qualifications.
The Jumbunna Admissions Program offers prospective undergraduate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students an opportunity to illustrate their capability for higher education via a testing, assessment and interview process. Selection is also based on factors including previous life, education and employment experience.
If you would like any additional information about the Jumbunna Admissions Program, visit the Jumbunna Admissions Program page or Jumbunna Facebook page or email atsirecruitment@uts.edu.au.
