Meet our course expert – Hera Antoniades
Associate Professor Hera Antoniade’s expertise in the UTS Property Development and Real Estate Investment programs spans many years. She teaches a variety of specialised accounting, taxation and feasibility subjects for built environment professionals, equipping students with the professional skills and technical knowledge required to advance and promote the built environment sector.
Hera is highly regarded for her teaching skills, both by students in her course and her academic peers. She is a former recipient of the Design, Architecture and Building Learning and Teaching Award. As a researcher, Hera specialises in forensic trust accounting and governance compliance for the property and legal professions. Her research includes white collar crime in trust accounting for property agencies, property taxation, forensic trust accounting, tenancy legislation, strata management and occupational licensing.
I thought it was important to obtain a deeper understanding of the commercial drivers of the business which lead to the investment decisions I’m being asked to document. By enrolling in the course, I knew I would be in a better position to provide commercially astute and relevant advice and become a trusted advisor to the group.
