CMT Lecturer Sacha Molitorisz is researching the ethics and regulation of digital privacy. Building on his 2018 PhD, Sacha takes Kantian ethics as a starting point for articulating a coherent account of what privacy is, why it matters and how we might best protect it.
Ultimately, Sacha argues, a satisfactory regime for protecting privacy online requires a robust regulatory framework, supplemented by non-legal measures.
