More days at Randwick clinic for Psychologist Natalie Miller
Meeting the need: Natalie Miller increases availability at Randwick clinic
The start of a new year can be a time of conflicting emotions for both children and parents. On the one hand there can be a renewed sense of possibility following a break from the running around that goes with school, work and busy family life, while on the other, the absence of routine and usual social supports may lead to feelings of anxiety. With school returning this week, there may be additional concerns about what's in store for the future.
Psychologist Natalie Miller, who joined The Kidman Centre last year, said, “Increased levels of anxiety is something we see more of at this time of year, and with the bushfires and climate change concerns affecting the mood of the whole country, 2020 so far has been especially challenging.”
We are pleased to announce that Natalie will increase her availability to 4 days a week at our Randwick clinic, and will take bookings for Monday to Thursday from 17 February 2020 onwards.
“One of the things I enjoy most about my work is helping children, young people and parents manage normal life transitions – things like starting school, moving from primary to high school, beginning Year 12, or starting a new job. Equipping people with the emotional tools, establishing new routines, and addressing any other needs to help set them up for a successful year can be an immensely rewarding experience for all involved,” said Natalie.
Natalie is available for bookings Monday to Thursday at Randwick from 17 February 2020. Bookings can be made here.
