Graduation
I am in my final session how do I check that I will be eligible to graduate?
You should view your Study Plan Details in My Student Admin.
All subjects listed on your plan other than the ones enrolled for the current session should be either passed, exempt or credited and there should be no planned subjects or planned option lines remaining.
At the end of the session the total credit points for all of your completed subjects must add up to the amount required for your course - please note it is not possible to graduate with any shortfall of credit points.
Once your final results for the session are published on the web, your status should show that you are a potential graduand.
See the website for the preparing to graduate.
If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to graduate you should contact the staff at the Faculty Student Centre.
What are the dates for the next graduation ceremony?
Please check the Ceremony Schedule for details.
What subjects remain for me to complete to be eligible to graduate?
Check your course completion requirements as advised in the online Handbook.
Compare this to what you have already completed. This is best done by logging onto My Student Admin to access "My Study Plan Details" in Web Enrolment. Your personalised study plan for a particular course shows all the subjects that you have completed (Passed, Exempt or Credited), all subjects currently Enrolled as well as any remaining subjects or options which will have a status of "Planned". These "Planned" components indicate subjects you still have to do.
You should also do a final credit point check to ensure that the total of all your completed, enrolled or planned subjects will reach the required credit points for the course - students cannot graduate with any credit point shortfall.
Please contact the Faculty Student Centre (Level 4, Building 6) immediately if you find any subject or credit shortfalls on your study plan.
