AAII named Australia's Best for Artificial Intelligence

UTS has been named the nation's top institution for AI in The Australian's Research Awards, along with claiming two field leading researchers.

The Australian's Research Awards are a 'Mark of Excellence'

For five years, The Australian has published a unique annual list to identify the best researcher and best research institution in each of 250 fields of research.

The Research Awards list, produced in partnership with League of Scholars, represents a data-driven showcase of Australia's research excellence, and the extraordinary talent of the nation's top researchers.

UTS has been named amongst the leading institutions in Engineering and Computer Science, with the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII) ranking no. 1 in the country in the field of artificial intelligence. AAII also claims two Field Leading researcher rankings, awarded to Distinguished Professor Chengqi Zhang and Dr Yi Zhang.
