At Industrial Light & Magic, Jamie's recent VFX projects include Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Gray Man, Obi-Wan and The Batman.
Working for George Lucas's international motion picture visual effects house is no small thing by itself.
In the meantime however, Jamie continues to build her portfolio, which features a mix of stunning audio visual works, and interactive sound art projects.
On her website, Jamie describes herself as a "young inventive, articulate Indigenous Australian with extensive experience in the organisational and technical aspects of creative arts production, and sound design for film, animations, games, and podcasts" who even as a kid "always wanted to be in and around anything creative arts and production. I just wanted to make noise and put on a show."
At high school she put in 170 hours for her certificate 3 in production, working at multiple venues across different audio, lighting, staging and vision systems.
When Jamie came to UTS to study Music and Sound Design, she honed her creative and technical skills, learned how to collaborate and innovate, and then forged herself a path to be the first Indigenous Australian working at Industrial Light and Magic, Sydney.
