How to apply
Note:
Applying for a vacancy at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is a completely online process.
If you have any questions about the application process, please email indigenousrecruitment@uts.edu.au prior to the submission of your application.
STEP 1: Preparing
As you will be unable to save your application once started, please have all the following required documents available prior to commencing:
- CV (resume)
- Completed application form
STEP 2: Apply now
When you are ready to apply, click ‘Apply Now’ on the top right-hand corner of the page
STEP 3: Logging in to iRecruit
You will be navigated to a page that outlines three (3) options:
- ‘Previously worked at UTS’,
- ‘Current UTS Staff?’ or
- ‘First Visit? Register Today’
Click on the option that relates to you, and either register or sign in

STEP 4: Attaching your documents
Click on ‘attach resume and supporting documents’ to load your previously prepared documents
Complete the information requested under the following headings:
- Basic Details
- Address
- Phone Numbers
- Employment History
- Qualifications
Click ‘next’
STEP 5: Further questions
Complete the information requested under the following headings:
- How Did You Hear About Us
- Equal Employment Opportunity
Click ‘next’
STEP 6: Review
Now is the time to review each step of your application prior to submission as you will not be able to go back later to amend anything.
When you are ready; click ‘Submit Application’
STEP 7: Application complete
Your application is now successfully submitted!
You can expect to receive an email confirming this shortly.
