The City of Sydney contracted ISF to build the capacity of its staff in understanding and implementing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) programs, through a series of training workshops and tools.
The training covered: M&E best practice approaches; types, benefits, limitations and considerations of program design, strategy and evaluation; and M&E Frameworks and Plans, including principles for evaluation, including stakeholder engagement, basis for evaluation questions, evidence base for findings and verification. The training also covered evaluation and measurement approaches with particular focus on Logic Models.
In addition to the training, ISF worked collaboratively with council staff to develop an evaluation framework and program for its Residential Apartments Sustainability Plan (RASP) in order for staff to practice their newly learnt skills.
