About us
Our group focuses on delivering new materials that underpin progress in quantum technologies – particularly quantum communications and quantum sensing. Our research efforts are dedicated to advanced nanofabrication protocols, spectroscopy of single emitters, studies of new quantum materials and development of advanced sensing modalities. We pursue experimental research employing non-conventional techniques and explore properties of new materials. We focus on wide bandgap materials such as diamond and hexagonal boron nitride as they are the front runners in realisation of new generation scalable quantum technologies.
We are part of the newly established ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems. Our goal is to harness the unique properties of light to engineer new generation of photonic technologies.
