Our changing campus
UTS campus development
The UTS campus is world renowned for its architecture and design, sustainable practices and smart technologies.
Over the past decade, our campus has been transformed through our $1 billion-plus City Campus Master Plan, which has delivered new landmark buildings and refurbished facilities. We've also broadened our campus footprint with strategically located specialist facilities, including the UTS Tech Lab in Botany and our sport and exercise science, physiotherapy and sports media facilities within the Rugby Australia Building at Moore Park.
Our investment has created a vibrant, sustainable campus with state-of-the-art learning, teaching and research spaces. Our physical spaces and facilities support the delivery of our collaboration- and technology-based model of teaching – learning.futures – and our industry-focused research.
Planning for the future
With learning, teaching and research constantly evolving, our campus continues to transform to ensure UTS students, staff and partners have access to cutting-edge facilities and technologies.
Recognising the constant evolution of technology in the higher education sector, our focus will remain on delivering campus infrastructure that facilitates digital innovation and blended learning opportunities for students.

Current major projects:
A ground-breaking Indigenous Residential College will offer accommodation for Indiegnous and non-Indigenous students, as well as cultural and community spaces, with architectural and interior design informed by Indigenous designers with Indigenous culture and identity at its core.
