Postgraduate research
Before submitting your application, you'll need to complete a pre-assessment process and receive pre-approval from the Faculty of Health.
How to complete the pre-assessment
1. Identify your proposed area of research
- Give thought to your research interest, proposed research topic and question.
2. Check whether there are supervisors with expertise in your field
- You will need to indicate a preferred supervisor in your enquiry. View the Find a Supervisor database and Faculty of Health Academic Staff list.
3. Submit an expression of interest
- Complete the Faculty of Health's Higher Degree Research Expression of Interest form.
- You will be required to upload the following documents:
- Copies of your undergraduate and postgraduate transcripts (in English)
- Your CV (include your research experience and capability) (Download the UTS CV template)
- A summary of your proposed research project (Download the Health research proposal guideline and template).

- Visit the Graduate Research School to find information on courses, application deadlines, documentation preparation, fees and English language requirements.
- International students should also visit UTS International.
