Head of School
Professor Jua Cilliers
Jua Cilliers is Head of the School of Built Environment within the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building.
She has successfully supervised 84 final year research projects, 30 MSc students, 7 PhD students and 4 Post-Doctoral Fellows. She has published 52 journal papers, 70 conference papers, and 9 book chapters.
Project Management
Leila Moslemi Naeni
Leila Moslemi Naeni is an experienced project management lecturer, whose teaching focuses on developing the skills that are needed to manage complex projects and deliver the results.
Her research in project management has two broad directions. The first is the project performance evaluation for complex projects that involve a high degree of uncertainty. Her second area of research focuses on improving project management practices using data analytics and new technologies.

Associate Professor Janet Ge
Janet Ge is a senior academic and research specialist in learning and teaching property programs that focus on the housing sector.
Janet's primary research covers housing affordability, the housing market and house prices, property development finance and investment, with over seventy refereed papers and book chapters published.
Construction Management
Johnny Wong
Johnny K-W Wong is an Associate Professor in the School of the Built Environment, University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
He is a chartered Quantity Surveyor, and previously held academic positions in Brisbane and Hong Kong before joining UTS in June 2017.

Sumita Ghosh
Sumita Ghosh is an academic who focuses on responsive urban design and spatial planning in the School of Built Environment, Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building, UTS.
As an architect and urban planner, Sumita has more than 28 years of teaching, research and professional experience. She has previously worked for the government, local councils, research organisations and universities in Australia and New Zealand.
