Navigating through the intertwined landscapes of business and culture, a UTS graduate shares a compelling narrative of personal and professional growth.

Anchored in the heart of Sydney, Adam Graham’s journey through the Bachelor of Business Bachelor of International Studies has been one of discovery, leadership, and anticipation of future possibilities.

Drawn to the vibrant, central location of UTS, Adam found the proximity an unparalleled advantage for networking and personal growth. His educational journey broke cultural and academic boundaries, expanding horizons beyond the North Shore’s familiar confines.

UTS’s central location facilitated seamless integration into the city's dynamic environment, offering endless opportunities for networking and interaction with a diverse population.

“UTS’s central location didn’t just change my academic life; it changed my world view, broadening my perspectives with every interaction in the city’s melting pot.”

Additionally, the unique offering of a double degree in Business and International Studies, which includes a year abroad, was unparalleled. The experience of learning a language and immersing himself in a different culture for a year was an invaluable experience.

Merging business with language and culture

Adam’s academic experience at UTS was further enriched by the ability to merge his passion for business with experiencing a new language and culture.

This unique combination allowed him to engage deeply with his studies, applying his business acumen in real-world international contexts, guided by a curriculum that promoted active learning and curiosity.

The first year, filled with core subjects from various business disciplines, allowed him to discover his passion for marketing.

Leadership at UTS isn’t just taught; it’s lived. I learned to lead not by directive, but by example, adapting to the needs of each scenario.
