This workshop introduces you to all your writing needs at uni. It presents an opportunity to discuss the concept of what academic style is, the common characteristics and types of academic writing and uni lecturers’ expectations. In this session, you will also learn how best to use HELPS programs and services to help you in your learning journey.

How to Give an Excellent Presentation
This workshop prepares you to deliver an excellent presentation. It introduces the structure of a presentation, how to use visual aids effectively, use of body language and non-verbal communication. It also helps you deal with nerves when speaking in front of a group.
