Starting uni can be stressful. But it doesn’t have to be. At UTS we want to make your uni life as stress free as possible, which is why we have plenty of support services available for our students (even when studying from home!).
Academic Support
Uni can be daunting and difficult to navigate at first. That’s why UTS has a range of virtual support services to assist you with your studies and help you succeed.
Struggling with nailing that assignment? UTS Higher Education Language and Presentation Support (HELPS) have one-to-one consultations, where you can discuss and improve your draft assignmentsThey also offer other services such as reviewing your writing, developing your academic skills as well as general questions about your assignments.
Medical Service
Health is wealth, right? Our UTS Health Service offers face to face consultations, as well as consultations via Telehealth while studying from home.
And the best bit. It won’t break the bank. It you’re a domestic student or have insurance there are options available. You can contact the UTS Medical Service on 9514 1177 to discuss your options.
Psychology Clinic
Mental health is just as important as physical health, especially during stressful times like end of semester. The One Hundred Broadway Clinic is UTS’s on-campus Psychology Clinic. When you’re on campus, you can pop in for a session. And when you’re at home, your session can be over the phone.

Health and Wellbeing
It can be tricky to make time to have fun during lockdown. But UTS has you covered. Activate UTS have heaps of virtual events lined up during Spring, so you can keep connected and have fun, from home.
Financial Support
Your studies don’t need to be complicated by financial troubles. UTS offers many programs for both domestic and international students who are facing financial hardship. During the pandemic, UTS has opened the Student Support Package to offer financial help both international and domestic students in hardship.
