This series of three one-day online short courses is aimed at providing local Council officers and managers with the information and skills they need to deal effectively with contaminated land issues.

They are designed to deliver both an introduction to the subject and an update and refresher for those with some experience. No prior knowledge is assumed. The courses have been developed in close consultation with a steering committee comprising experienced representatives of metropolitan, regional and rural Councils, and are supported by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Environmental Health Australia (EHA) and Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA).

The courses will run once annually and comprise three consecutive all-day training courses. You can opt to participate in any combination of days, and each day has a different theme. Each day a combination of lectures and participative workshops will be delivered by experts including experienced Council contaminated land specialists, site auditors, consultants and NSW EPA.

All the courses are delivered online only.
