Clinical placements
Our Master of Speech Pathology students undertake three Clinical Practice in Speech Pathology subjects across the course. These subjects include clinical placements in a variety of settings with children and adults and a focus on communication and/or swallowing disorders. During their clinical placements, students will have the opportunity to learn alongside speech pathologists and other health and educational professionals.
The three Clinical Practice in Speech Pathology subjects support our postgraduates to develop clinical competencies and confidence as a student speech pathologist. The placements are complemented by simulated clinical practice learning opportunities in the classroom.
Clinical placements are facilitated by UTS and are undertaken in various locations across Australia.
