The business knowledge provided at UTS made a substantial difference in my way of thinking.
“There are a lot of benefits to studying in Sydney, while the challenges involved are hard to determine. Firstly, the city is fully-fledged with a multicultural atmosphere that is vibrant and friendly to overseas visitors. Besides this characteristic of Sydney, the big competitive market of the city also provides future career options to prospective students.
"While studying at UTS, I am also involved in working with an online education agency that I co-founded in 2011 before coming to Sydney. The company is involved in the application procedure with overseas universities on behalf of students, documentation of visa process and consulting students who want to study in foreign countries. Balancing studying and working is not so hard a task to do if you are involved in a job that is related to the major. In fact working during student years is a trampoline to make a link between what is written in the books and how it is applied in the real market. Attending conferences, talking to the business people and also asking their advice also helps me to better balance my student life.
"The business knowledge provided at UTS made a substantial difference in the way of my thinking up til now, and the real life business assignments help me to follow business environments of the world and Australia. Even upon completion of my 2nd semester I feel ready to join and make my further contributions to the business world in Australia.
"The most rewarding aspect of my degree is the opportunities for future improvement due to the flexibility of the business world. In my opinion, whoever is involved in Accounting can see the pathway of improvement time after time. Therefore, following this pathway, making contributions and acquiring benefits of future opportunities is the most rewarding aspect of this degree. In fact, one of my plans in my future life is to be a professor at UTS after doing my PhD degree. However, changing of plans in the future will not prevent me from participating in alumni events and being one of the members of this happy environment.”
