The Masters was very interesting & gave me a lot of new knowledge that I could apply at work.
I decided to study for the Graduate Certificate as I had heard a lot about behavioural economics through my work in advertising (mainly around financial services) but I had found the general understanding (including my own) to be quite shallow. The Graduate Certificate was very interesting & gave me a lot of new knowledge that I could apply at work. The assignments were interesting and varied - it was challenging and quite re-invigorating to study completely new topics, be forced to think quite deeply about them and write a detailed assignment. At the end of the Grad Cert I was happy to sign up for the Master - some of the additional modules are very relevant to my work (Choice Architecture) and some are forcing me to analyse topics I know little about (Behavioural Health Economics). The work requires application but can be fitted in around work and family life.
One unexpected bonus was that re-studying classic economic theory reminded me of many important things that I used to know but had forgotten!
