Gareth Ivory Memorial Prize in Journalism
Overview
The purpose of the prize is to award the student who achieves the highest WAM within the subject 52647 Professional Project.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for this Prize, a candidate must meet all the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled in in an undergraduate Journalism degree or a combined degree.
- Most outstanding student in the subject 52647 Professional Project in the session immediately prior to the selection of the Prize.
- The student must not have completed that subject previously.
- The student must not be studying this subject as part of a second major.
Selection process
The prize will be rewarded to the student who:
- Achieves the highest mark within the subject Professional Project 52647.
- If more than one student scores the highest mark in the subject, the prize will be awarded to the student with the highest overall WAM in the degree.
