Humanitarian Engineering Studio Award
Overview
The Prize was established to recognise an outstanding project proposal in 41150 Summer Studio A – Humanitarian Engineering Studio, which address a genuine problem in the contextual area and provides an innovative solution that is viable to implement. One (1) Recipient will be awarded the Prize each year.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the Prize, the Recipient must:
- Be enrolled in 41150 Summer Studio A – Humanitarian Engineering Studio, in the summer session prior to the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology prize-giving event.
Selection process
- The project proposal accurately addresses the contextual needs of the community and provides a valid and viable solution to solve the needs
- The project proposal is culturally sensitive in implementation, a well thought process for the context of the project
- Is innovative, creative and meets the criteria of the Client (Non-Profit).
