Overview
This prize was established in 2000 by Dr Iain Stevenson, former Course Director of the Biotechnology degree to award the graduating student from the Biotechnology degree courses who achieved the highest weighted average mark for 91314 General Microbiology, 91330 Epidemiology and Public Health Microbiology, 91369 Biobusiness and Environmental Biotechnology.

Who is eligible?
The Recipient must:
- Graduate from a Biotechnology degree course in the year for which the award is made; and
- Receive a result in the subjects 91314 General Microbiology, 91330 Epidemiology and Public Health Microbiology, 91369 Biobusiness and Environmental Biotechnology; and
- Receive a WAM for the subjects listed of 75/D or higher.
Selection process
The highest weighted average mark for the subjects 91314 General Microbiology, 91330 Epidemiology and Public Health Microbiology, 91369 Biobusiness and Environmental Biotechnology.
