SHPA NSW Branch Prize for Excellence in Clinical Practice
Overview
The purpose of the prize is to recognise and encourage the achievements of high-performing UTS Master of Pharmacy students in the area of Clinical Practice.

Who is eligible?
To be eligible for this Prize, Recipients must:
- The Recipient must be in their final year of study of the UTS Master of Pharmacy (Coursework).
- The Recipient must have, in the three sessions immediately prior to award of the Prize, successfully completed:
- Clinical Practice 1 (96015), and
- Clinical Practice 2 (96024; previously 96016), and
- Clinical Practice 3 (96025; previously 96017)
- The Recipient must be enrolled in Clinical Practice 4 (96017)
- In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest final mark, the following criteria will be considered:
- The highest preceptor evaluations across all three clinical practice subjects
- Overall academic performance in the student’s award course, including GPA, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct made against them.
Selection process
Applicants are selected based on:
- The Prize will be awarded to the student who has received the highest cumulative mark in the subjects listed below at the time of award of the Prize.
- Clinical Practice 1 (96015), and
- Clinical Practice 2 (96024; previously 96016), and
- Clinical Practice 3 (96025; previously 96017)
