Applications for the July 2017 intake of the UTS Institute for Public Policy and Governance’s (IPPG) new Master of Applied Policy and Master of Local Government programs close soon.
Master of Applied Policy
The UTS Master of Applied Policy program will equip students with the skills, deep knowledge and adaptive capabilities to build a career in the diverse policy terrain, with emphasis on the development of practical policy making skills.
The course will prepare graduates for policy roles in government and non-government organisations, as well as the private sector, across a wide variety of issue clusters. People working, or wishing to work, in policy roles that include policy development, implementation and evaluation will particularly benefit.
The program has been developed by IPPG in consultation with industry in response to a need for boundary-spanning policy practitioners with up-to-date practical skills.
Master of Local Government
The Master of Local Government has been developed by IPPG to provide graduates with the necessary managerial skills and knowledge relevant to the local government sector and its changing needs and priorities.
It is the only master’s level program tailored to local government in Australia. If you want to advance your career in local government, the Master of Local Government will equip you with the skills and strategic thinking ability to take the next step.
