Making your research project a success!
Research project management at UTS
This workshop is intended for all disciplines and predominantly for early and mid-career researchers—but everyone is warmly welcome.
Registration is essential for the session and places are limited. Please register online. A light lunch will be provided for registered participants.
The foundations for a successful research project are often laid well before its commencement—in fact, it already starts when an idea is shaped into a proposal. The careful planning of methodology, ethics, collaborators, resources and budget can all influence how and when the project is implemented and concluded. This workshop will explain the many factors that will support a successful project outcome, including the UTS processes and people that can help you to navigate through all the phases of a project lifecycle.
Professional staff from the Research Office, Research Finance, the Library, Faculty Research Support and eResearch will showcase the services available to UTS researchers and how you can maximise the chances of your research project leading to success and impact. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A panel session to answer specific questions from participants.
