Showcasing the diversity of research funding opportunities

Most UTS researchers would be well aware of the prestigious but often elusive ARC and NHMRC grants. However, the diversity of many other external funding opportunities is greater than most realise. This seminar will highlight the availability of external funding across all disciplines, including philanthropic, industry and international sources. We will demonstrate how researchers can find opportunities relevant to their field, and where to find support in the UTS Research Office. We will hear from early/mid-career researchers who have strategically built their funding track record, using a variety of sources as stepping stones. Finally, researchers and research support professionals will form a panel to answer questions from the audience.

This workshop is intended for all disciplines and predominantly for early to mid-career researchers – but everyone is warmly welcome. A light lunch will be provided for registered participants.
