CCS Success in the UTS Human Rights Awards
Our success in the UTS Human Rights Awards is a testament to our good work as a Research Centre - Congratulations to all!
Here is the list of awards:
- CCS received a Commendation in the Social Inclusion award for its many projects focused on Human rights and social inclusion
- Bronwen Dalton and Kyungja Jung received a Commendation in the VC Social Justice/Human Rights award for their work in creating scholarships for Korean students
- Jenna Price received the Jo Wilton Award for Women for her work on ‘Destroy the Joint’ website
- Heather Goodall received the UTS Career Achievement award for her 'Dedication to the Indigenous Communities of Australia and to Tranby Aboriginal College
- One of Stephen Wearing’s students Amy Reggers also received a High Commendation in the Elizabeth Hastings Memorial ward for student community contribution - for her overseas work
