Olympic Games masterclass
Urban Sociologist Professor Harry Hiller (University of Calgary), delivered a masterclass discussing the Olympic Games and their relationship with the locals of the host city. Professor Hiller showed evidence of the emotions of the locals before, during and after hosting the Games, connecting them with the broader conversation of soft and hard legacies. The masterclass was attended by the undergraduate students of the subject 'Olympic Games and Sport Mega-Events', as well as UTS and ACOS scholars and PhD students
