New Olympic Charter
The new Olympic Charter (i.e. the Constitution of the Olympic Movement) has been published. It is in force from 17 September 2017.
Among the changes made, are for IFs (Rule 25) and the whole Olympic Movement (Rule 43) to be compliant with the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of Manipulation of Competitions, violations of which are included in Rule 59.
Rule 56 includes a new rule in regards to the reallocation of medals, defining that “To the extent reasonably possible, the ceremonies for reallocation of medals shall replicate the formal ceremonies for allocation of medals.”
