NEW REPORT: Towards high quality in Australian education technology

Edtech is revolutionising Australian schools.

However, a crowded and rapidly growing edtech market is making it difficult for teachers, schools and parents to know which applications are high quality and useful, with risks to better learning outcomes, equity, teacher workload and well-targeted investment.

To address this issue, we recommend a robust, national quality assurance process anchored on curriculum depth and fidelity, quality teaching approaches and safety for student and teacher use.

Read the Towards high quality in Australian education technology report.

All Australian children and young people deserve to benefit from education technology (edtech) that puts their needs, learning and wellbeing first, and which recognises and amplifies the expertise of their teachers.

The Australian Network for Quality Digital Education’s purpose is to harness edtech’s potential to improve learning outcomes, bending this benefit towards the students who need it most.
