Opportunities for academics
UTS Key Technology Partnerships Visiting Fellow Program - UTS provides up to A$10,000 for UTS academics to invite their counterparts from eligible Key Technology Partner institutions to travel to Sydney (two to four-week visits) and collaborate on projects of mutual interest.
Please note this program provides funding for inbound travel.

Worldwide Universities Network
UTS is a member of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), a leading global higher education network. Explore WUN programs for career development including collaboration and networking opportunities for researchers.
Opportunities for academics
WUN Research Development Fund (WUN RDF) - provides grants of up to £10,000 (A$17,400) for one year to foster research collaborations among academic staff at WUN member universities.
The WUN RDF supports collaborative research that addresses the overarching theme of sustainable development, including in the following areas:
- Social justice, human rights, inequality
- Sustainable world: cities and urbanisation, energy transitions, water and food security
- Mental health, child and maternal health, ageing
- Responsible and ethical use of computing: artificial intelligence, information security, privacy
Access to WUN Hub - a database that enables researchers at WUN member universities to find and connect with WUN colleagues and WUN-supported research projects. Virtual events for early career researchers - a series of virtual ‘SDG-themed’ workshops bringing together early career researchers interested in establishing connections with colleagues in the field.
