UTS Pesticide Use Notification Plan available to the community
Where appropriate, UTS uses pesticides on campus to maintain our public spaces. The university ensures that it engages appropriately licensed and competent pesticide contractors so that pesticides are applied in a safe, responsible manner, minimising harm to the community and the environment.
Government regulation requires UTS to publish a Pesticide Use Notification Plan, to inform the community about pesticide applications made to outdoor public places owned or controlled by UTS, to allow them to take action to avoid potential contact with pesticides if they wish.
The UTS Pesticide Use Notification Plan is now available here on the university’s website. A hard copy is also available for viewing at the security desk on level 4 of Building 1 (the Tower) at 15 Broadway, NSW.
