Get around safely with UTS preferred paths
To help staff, students and visitors navigate their way around campus using the quickest and safest routes around our busy City campus, UTS has put together a map of preferred pathways (download PDF).
These paths will help all of us at UTS take full advantage of our inner-city location while avoiding some of the pitfalls such as busy traffic.
Use the map to find pedestrian links like the Harris St footbridge and the Goods Line to avoid busy roads.
When you do have to cross major roads, make sure you use pedestrian crossings to cross safely and avoid a $72 fine for jay walking. If you’re travelling at night, stay on well-lit paths where other people are likely to be around.
