Our academics are expert physiotherapist clinicians who are trained in a variety of practice environments, providing you with essential clinical skills. Each with their own respective areas of expertise, our academics are internationally renowned with research topics in neurorehabilitation, chronic disease management and intensive care physiotherapy.
As a School, we are student-focused ensuring you have access to subject matter experts and benefit from intimate learning environments due to a selective intake.
Innovative and creative environment
Facilities feature collaborative learning spaces, enabling innovative and creative thinking. Integrated clinical simulation rooms, interactive lecture theatres and a 30-bay plinth room equipped with the latest physiotherapy technology will further develop your clinical reasoning and professional skills. Case-based teaching and learning coupled with a small cohort and addressing different clinical settings will ensure you gain a breadth of knowledge and skill.
You will become technology-enabled through exposure to a suite of robotic and virtual reality rehabilitation devices. We have sourced equipment from Austria, for the purpose of research and teaching, with UTS as the second site in Australia to purchase the entire range and the first in a university setting.
UTS is located in the heart of Sydney, with Central Station, Sydney’s main transport hub and restaurants, shops and lives entertainment venues just a short walk away.
UTS Physiotherapy is housed in One Hundred Broadway, part of our city campus, with some study conducted at the Rugby Australia Building in Moore Park. Learn more about our facilities
