Register of undisclosed open access information
Under section 6.1 of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) (the GIPA Act), open access information is required to be made publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure. For example, where there are privacy or security considerations that are deemed to outweigh the public interest of providing access.
When a decision is made not to release open access information due to public interest considerations, a record of the general nature of the information and the decision is required to be made publicly available. This record is provided below.
Decisions listed below are approved by the Right to Information Coordinator following consideration of the provisions of the GIPA Act.
