Pathway to physiotherapy
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Management can lead to entry into the Master of Physiotherapy at UTS. This is subject to students meeting the entry requirements.
The earlier you consider Physiotherapy as a potential career path, the easier it will be to structure your electives accordingly.
For students who successfully gained entry via UAC into the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy major), your pathway is guaranteed subject to maintaining a credit average (GPA of 5.0 and above) and a successful internal interview. Please note that the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy major) has a different UAC code to the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Science major or No major). Furthermore, the Exercise Therapy major is open to recent school leavers only. It therefore cannot be chosen by students who have completed any tertiary studies including students enrolled in the UTS Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree (Exercise Science major or No major).
Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Science major or No major)
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree (Exercise Science major or No major) must complete the following elective:

Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Management

Applying for both Master of Physiotherapy and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
If you are considering both of these degrees, you must choose one to be your first preference. UTS will consider both options independently of the order you choose.
If you are successful in both applications, you will receive two offers and will then need to confirm your final decision as to what degree you wish to enrol in.
Please make sure that you check when your offer lapses as the dates may be different for each course.
How to apply
Students should regularly check the university website for details on how and when to apply for enrolment into the Master of Physiotherapy.
